Skupinová mobilita bola pre mňa najlepšia skúsenosť. Určite by som si niečo takéto znovu veľmi rada zopakovala. Pred vycestovaním do Chorvátska som sa obávala najviac, pretože som nevedela do čoho idem. Strava a ubytovanie bolo veľmi dobre.

Group mobility was the best experience for me. I would definitely love to do something like this again. The best thing about the whole mobility was that we got to explore the sights of Croatia, but we also had fun at school and with our host families. What was less pleasant was that we didn't understand much in class at school because they mostly spoke Croatian. My fears about communicating in English disappeared after the first day. I wasn't afraid to travel without my parents. I learned interesting things about Croatia, for example: Students at school are taught in two shifts. I often travel outside of Slovakia with my parents, so I'm used to travelling and I enjoy it. This mobility was my first trip abroad without my parents. A week-long stay was just right. In addition to improving my foreign language skills, I developed new friendships and experienced Croatian culture during this stay. Before travelling to Croatia, I was most worried because I didn't know what to expect. The food and accommodation were very good. I immediately felt at home in the new family. I encourage all students not to be afraid to participate, it was the best experience and a memory I will cherish for life. I still keep in touch with my host family and some of the students from the school we attended. In addition to my Croatian mom, dad, brothers and sister, they also introduced me to their grandparents, who were incredibly kind.

A s kamarátmi z Chorvátska som stále v kontakte.

The student mobility experience was great for me and I would definitely do it again. The thing I liked the most were the people I met there. I made new friends and had a great time with them. The long journey was a bit tiring, but it was worth it. I wasn't worried about speaking English but I was a little nervous speaking in front of the others. It was my first trip abroad without my parents, but I wasn’t afraid. I learned that there are fewer people living in Croatia than in Slovakia, that Croatia has over 1000 islands, and that one of the traditional Croatian dishes is sarma. I’m used to travelling with my parents and we often travel abroad. I think 1 week was a bit too short and I would have liked to stay longer. I think this type of experience helps people develop knowledge about other countries and it also improves communication skills. The extra work before the trip was a bit of a burden for me, but I managed it. The stay and food were great. I would recommend students who haven’t had this experience yet to definitely participate. It’s a fantastic opportunity that brings new experiences and great friends. You definitely won’t regret it and you will be glad you participated. And , I’m still in contact with friends from Croatia.
ALEXANDRA:
Skupinová mobilita žiakov bola vynikajúca skúsenosť. Určite by som si to ešte zopakovala.

The group mobility of pupils was an excellent experience. I would definitely do it again. I liked meeting new people, a foreign country and its culture the most. I wasn't afraid to speak English, the only thing I was worried about was when I went to present in front of the "class". I was not at all afraid to travel without my parents. During my stay, I learned that Varaždin is the former capital of Croatia, I also learned about the pilgrimage site of Marija Bistrica, which was very beautiful and interesting. I also learned more about their culture. I like to travel with my parents. I don't travel outside Slovakia very often - about once a year. This was not the first time I went abroad without my parents. The stay for one week was just right, neither too much and neither too little. With such a stay, a person develops social skills and independence. There was no burden for me either before or after traveling. Only to present presentations or similar things, but that's the least. The accommodation was amazing. The family I stayed with all week was very nice, great. The food was also excellent. I am very glad that I spent my stay with them. I would tell students who would like to participate not to be afraid and definitely get involved! I am not in touch with the people I met. Not very often. We text sometimes, but otherwise we are not in more detailed contact.
A dobrosrdečnými ľuďmi. A o tomto to celé je, lebo my sme Nábrežná. PaedDr. Igor Drexler
EN: Samozrejme, tu je preklad do angličtiny:
Students and Teachers from Nábrežná Educated Themselves in Croatia.
Destination: Zlatar Bistrica Elementary School. Zlatar Bistrica is a municipality and administrative center of the same-named municipality in Croatia, in the Krapina-Zagorje County. The school has approximately two hundred students. Even that is enough for all of them not to fit into its premises at the same time, so the grades alternate in teaching in the morning and afternoon shifts every week. The school is headed by Ms. Jasna K. Pelko. However, Erasmus brought us to these parts at the invitation of Snježana, an old (not in age) good friend from the LO-VE project. The children are accommodated in host families during the week, and the three of us teachers stay at the Kaj Hotel in nearby Marija Bistrica. On Monday, our work week began as well. In the morning, we meet in the school library with Croatian colleagues, children, and parents from the host families. We introduce ourselves to each other, talk about what interests us. Throughout the week, the students participate in several joint lessons with their Croatian friends, workshops, creative workshops, and other support activities. Job shadowing is also part of the work stay. And so, our Slovak teachers attend English lessons with Croatian students, or work meetings. We also travel to Varaždin and the capital city, Zagreb. Of course, in addition to exploring attractions, we also engage in outdoor learning in the field. The difference between school and life is that in school you learn the lesson first and then get the test. But life gives you the test first, and you take the lesson from it. It was hard to leave Croatia. "In farewell, the air trembles. It will find us on the steps of airplanes, on the platforms of express trains..." And indeed, tears flowed. Children and parents cried, and the three of us teachers had a lump in our throats from emotion. The stay in Croatia ended, the week spent together closed, a great life experience. The sun in Marija Bistrica still invites us to its main attraction. The Church of St. Peter and Paul, the picturesque square surrounded by souvenir stalls, and the procession on Calvary Hill are an extraordinary and deep spiritual experience even for guests from distant Slovakia. Last photos, views, small souvenirs for our people at home, and we board the bus. Goodbye Croatia, a country with incredible natural beauty, eight national parks, numerous cultural heritage under UNESCO protection. A country of beautiful beaches, one of the cleanest seas in the world, hidden valleys, quality drinking water, lakes, clean rivers, mountain ranges. And kind-hearted people. And that's what it's all about, because we are Nábrežná. PaedDr. Igor Drexler.
