Active citizenship is about combining knowledge, attitude and active engagement, that is why this course focuses on project-based learning on sustainable development goals (SDG) and local micro-actions of youth activism.

DAY 1: WHO IS HERE AND WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM EACH OTHER?
- Introductory meeting: ice-breakers, practical arrangements, timetable, expectations and contributions
- International exchange: key principles of the different educational school systems and peer exchange of best practices
- Planning future cooperation and joint actions among the participants
DAY 2 - DAY 4: TRAINING TOPICS
- Globalization
- Global education: resources, flipped activities
- Introduction to social innovation and design thinking for project-based flipped learning in active citizenship
- Social innovation
- Brainstorming and prototyping solutions
- Flipped learning tools for developing students’ competencies of critical thinking
- Fostering youth participation
- Flipped learning activities on intercultural citizenship education and digital citizenship
DAY 5: STUDY VISIT TO THE LOCAL SCHOOL
- Exploring core activity domains and specialised educational approaches with teachers from the school, classroom observation
