Who are we?
Primera is the European centre of teachers' professional development with inspiring trainings across European cities. We are proud of our team of highly experienced trainers committed to evidence-based and practice-driven learning experiences.
Our mission is to empower teachers so they can do their job best.
Besides international trainings we maintain an international learning community of teachers
with free-of-charge online conferences, teacher intervision and other development opportunities.
Primera's quality standards:
1. Preparation
Application: Handbook with tips on drafting high-quality Erasmus+ KA1 applications. Free download from the webpage https://www.erasmuspluscourses.com/
Course info-booklet: Information about the learning outcomes, methodology, programme, schedule, instructor, online resources, and cultural activities. Participants get the info-booklet at least 8 weeks in advance.
2. Content & pedagogy
Evidence-based: The latest findings and best practices in the field. We use empirical evidence to inform teaching and learning practices.
Practice-driven: Hands-on, practical experience in developing and refining skills and competencies. Where possible we distribute user-friendly lesson plans.
3. Inclusion
Multilingual material: Some of the courses offer multilingual material - the courses derived from the Erasmus+ KA2 projects.
Open towards diversity: Primera promotes respect, tolerance, and acceptance of different viewpoints and perspectives. Support for the special needs participants.
4. European dimension
Intercultural learning: Participants share diverse practices and experiences across Europe, peer learning is an integral part of Primera's course design.
Networking: Twice a year, we host online networking events where teachers from various levels of education can connect with potential partners for their international initiatives.
5. Continuous improvement
Participants' feedback: We actively seek feedback from participants during and after the course with qualitative and quantitative indicators.
Annual peer review: Our trainers assess the quality and effectiveness of the courses on a yearly basis. The examination involves methodology, content, learning outcomes, and course evaluations.
6. Follow-up
Pan-EU conference on digital education: Monthly free-of-charge online professional development event devoted to teachers from various levels of education in which teachers share their best practice with other colleagues.
Recognition: The participants receive the certificate of attendance and Europass mobility document.
