At the end of the project, we created the subpage 10.3 At the end of the project..., designed as a detailed synthesis structured by chapters, meant to provide a clear, coherent, and comprehensive overview of the entire course of the project—both quantitatively, through the number and diversity of activities, and qualitatively, through the educational, collaborative, and creative impact generated among participants.

IMPORTANT!

Welcome to the page dedicated to the end of our eTwinning project CALENDAR OF WELLBEING IN SCHOOL! Here you will find essential information about the results we achieved, how we measured and capitalized on the activities carried out, as well as recommendations and important data about the project. They will be displayed on HOME in a single post and then displayed on this page to which the project partners have access.

LET'S START PRESENTING THE PROJECT:

Age range: 4-12 year

Aims:
The main purpose of this project is to promote well-being among students and teachers, to create and maintain a healthy, positive and inclusive educational environment that supports the harmonious development of students from an emotional, social and physical point of view. This project aims to ensure general well-being within the school community, both for students and teachers.
Expected Results:
Project participants should acquire valuable life skills, develop positive relationships both within and outside of school. The project also aims to create a culture of well-being in the school communities involved in the project. Project outcomes reflect improvements in emotional, social and physical well-being and can be measured in the short and long term by:

  •  -Improving the school climate

  • -Development of students' socio-emotional skills

  • -Better school performance

  • -Active family and community involvement

  • -Increasing student involvement in extracurricular activities

  • -Reducing absenteeism and school dropout

As the founder of the project, I will recall some essential aspects of the project that we developed together:

"How would you describe this eTwinning project and what was it about?

“We created well-being in school...”

Because school is our second home, we wanted every day spent here to be one full of smiles, respect, safety and joy. We understood that well-being is not only about material conditions, but especially about beautiful relationships, mutual support, trust and acceptance.

“We created well-being in school...” – this is the essence of the eTwinning project “Calendar of Wellbeing in School!”, an educational initiative dedicated to cultivating a positive, friendly and balanced atmosphere in school life.

The project aimed, month by month, to promote essential values for students’ well-being: empathy, respect, friendship, caring for others, managing emotions and the importance of cooperation.

Through creative activities, games, reflections, discussions and international collaborations, students became aware of their active role in creating a school where every child feels safe, valued and happy.

It was a project about the soul of the school, where education for well-being intertwined with the joy of being together, learning from each other and bringing about positive change, starting from small gestures with big impact.

2. PROJECT SYMBOLS:

37 logos and 35 posters were proposed by the project partners, each partner understanding the importance of these symbols.

The project symbols (logo and poster) are not simple visual images, but reflect the values, mission and identity of the project. THE VAFI PROJECT RECOGNIZED FOR THESE SYMBOLS ! Symbols contribute significantly to shaping a strong and coherent visual identity.

Subsequently, the symbols were put to a vote via two Google forms. THE WINNING SYMBOLS had:

  • 2141 votes for the LOGO according to the voting page

/en/etwinning/projects/calendar-wellbeing-school/twinspace/pages/vote-logo

  • 1229 votes for the POSTER according to the voting page

Project
3.PROJECT PREPARATION:

Project preparation plays an essential role, because in this stage, communication channels are established, all partners are located on the project map, tasks are distributed between partners and WEB 2 tools are chosen, by mutual agreement. At the same time, the integration of the project into the curriculum is ensured, respecting the basic principles and Fundamental Values of the European Union.

Communication channels are the means by which project members stay in touch and collaborate effectively. These include: Email – for transmitting official information and important documents; Instant communication platforms (e.g. WhatsApp) – for quick messages and operational coordination; Video conferencing (e.g. Google Meet) – for online meetings, discussions and decision-making; Educational and collaborative platforms (e.g. eTwinning, Padlet, TwinSpace) – for sharing resources, joint activities and project documentation; Social networks – for promoting project activities and disseminating results to a wider audience.

The project map is a visual representation of all partners involved in a project, indicating the geographical location of each participating school, institution or organization.

4.PROJECT TEAM:

The eTwinning project team “Wellbeing Calendar at School” is very important. It is made up of teachers from different countries, students of different ages and their schools. It is important to get to know each other, that is why in this part of the project we wanted to get to know you, the project team. So here in these pages we will get to know:

  • THE TEACHERS

  • THE STUDENTS

  • THE PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS

THE TEACHER’S TASK IS TO CREATE that school climate that we will talk about in the project. The school climate must be positive, safe and inclusive, in which every child feels respected, listened to and valued. In such an environment, students have the courage to express their ideas, collaborate, learn from mistakes and get actively involved in the life of the school. Teachers, as leaders of this climate, have an essential role in promoting empathy, cooperation, and open communication, encouraging healthy relationships between colleagues, between students and teachers, and between school and family.

THE STUDENTS’ TASK IS TO HELP CREATE that school climate and to be part of it.To make the emotional well-being of every student a priority, we must learn to be considerate of each other, to respect our differences, and to offer support when someone needs it. Every student can contribute through small but valuable gestures: a smile, an encouragement, a kind word, listening to a colleague, or actively participating in class activities. Students need to understand that they are part of a community where everyone matters and that, through positive behaviors, they can make school a better place for everyone. They can learn how to manage their emotions, how to communicate effectively, and how to resolve conflicts peacefully

The active participation of teachers and students in school life are important steps towards building that positive climate, where everyone feels safe, valued and motivated. Thus, together — teachers, students and parents — we can create a school where emotional well-being is not just an ideal, but an everyday reality.

5.PROJECT ACTIVITIES:

“Calendar of Wellbeing in School”

       5.1   ACTIVITY 1: The well - being in nature - #CodeWeek

5.2   ACTIVITY 2 - The well - being of my class

5.3   ACTIVITY 3: - The Wellbeing of my Campaign

5.4   ACTIVITY 4: The Wellbeing through disciplines  (painting)

5.5   ACTIVITY 5: The Wellbeing through disciplines

                (mathematics, natural sciences, Tic)

5.6   ACTIVITY 6: The Wellbeing through disciplines

                (Education for citizenship)

5.7   ACTIVITY 7: The Wellbeing -eTwinning Day*

5.8   Activity 8: Safer Internet Day*** - Optional activity

Why did I choose to address the topic of well-being through school subjects???

We considered it essential that the theme of well-being should not remain an isolated activity, but be integrated into the daily work of students, especially within the core subjects. This choice was motivated by the conviction that well-being is not a separate subject from the educational process, but an integral part of authentic and balanced learning.
Integrating well-being into subjects helps students understand that learning is not just about accumulating information, but also about forming healthy attitudes, personal development, and harmonious relationships with those around them. In this way, school becomes a space where education is centered on the child, his real needs, and his formation - so it contributes to his well-being

Thus:

• Through Mathematics, Natural Sciences and ICT, students develop their intellectual resilience, learn to solve problems, think critically and collaborate, all of which contribute to cognitive well-being and self-confidence

• Through music, painting, dance and poetry, students express their emotions, cultivate empathy and find ways to manage stress, supporting emotional balance.

• Through Citizenship Education, respect, civic engagement, responsibility and community spirit are promoted – essential elements for a state of well-being in society.   etc

Project
6.PROJECT MEETINGS:

Our meetings were organized at the beginning of the project, aiming to establish a solid foundation for collaboration. The first meeting was dedicated to the project partners – the teachers involved from different countries. It was an important moment when we got to know each other, introduced our schools and students, and discussed each other’s expectations and contributions within the eTwinning project “Wellbeing Calendar in School”.

BECAUSE we were over 40 partners, this meeting was held in 3 country groups: GROUP 1 ROMANIA: 21 members

GROUP 2 TURKEY: 10 members

GROUP 3 BULGARIA - group with 10 partners from the countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Georgia, Lithuania; Italy.

During this meeting, the idea of the project, the objectives, the stages and the working methods were explained. Also, the teams that will manage the content of the project page (TwinSpace), the communication mode between the partners and the planning of the main activities were established. This first meeting was essential to create a climate of trust and cooperation, but also to ensure that all participants understood the direction of the project and their role in its development. It was a promising start that laid the foundation for a beautiful and effective collaboration.

The second project meeting was organized on May 9, on the occasion of eTwinning Day, a symbolic moment for celebrating European collaboration in education. This meeting had a festive but also interactive character, bringing together teachers and some of the students involved in the “Wellbeing Calendar in School” project. It was an excellent opportunity to strengthen the ties between the partners, to share the first results and impressions of the activities carried out so far. During the meeting, each participating school had the opportunity to present in a creative way its community, the activities carried out in the project, but also the way in which the students were involved in promoting well-being in school. Video messages, posters, collages and other materials made by the children were presented, and the atmosphere was warm and motivating. The meeting emphasized the importance of international collaboration and the exchange of ideas between schools, demonstrating that, together, we can build an educational climate in which every student feels valued and supported. eTwinning Day reminded us all that we are part of a larger network, where borders disappear and where empathy, respect and well-being are shared values.

meet

The final online meeting of the “School Wellbeing Calendar” project was also organized in a structured way, in groups: Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3, each consisting of the partner teachers involved in the project activities. This organization into groups allowed for more efficient communication, a deeper exchange of ideas and a careful reflection on the course of the project. The final meeting was also a moment of celebration – of the joint efforts, of international friendship and of the progress made towards school wellbeing. Although the project has ended, the connections created and the lessons learned will remain valuable for all involved.

7.JOINT PRODUCTS AND COLLABORATIVE WORKS

Within the “Calendar of Wellbeing in School” project, the joint products and collaborative works were the result of an active and sustained involvement of all partners. They were achieved through jointly planned activities, organized in international groups – small or large – in which students and teachers from different countries collaborated directly. We worked together using digital platforms, communicated through messages and online meetings, shared our ideas and created various visual and educational materials through interdisciplinary activities. These products generated exchange of experience, creativity, collaborative learning and the development of students’ digital, social and intercultural skills. Working in an international team meant for the participants the discovery of other perspectives, respect and cooperation, but also the joy of building together something valuable, meaningful and impactful in school life.

7.1 Ƶt products
The effective collaboration between the partners allowed the creation of the project map, an essential element in the organization and visibility of our joint activities. The project was also located on the eTwinning map, strengthening our membership in the European community of educational projects. To promote and disseminate the activities, the project Facebook group was created, where all members can publish the results of the activities carried out. In support of rapid and efficient communication, a WhatsApp group was also set up, used for information, consultation and coordination between partners. These tools contribute to good organization and strengthening team spirit.

7.2 Collaborative works:
Collaboration means working together, sharing ideas, supporting each other and contributing something valuable to achieve a common goal. In an eTwinning project, this means cooperation between students and teachers from several countries, carrying out joint activities, exchanging good practices and creating digital products that reflect the international team effort. These activities generated valuable collaborative work, bringing together the contributions of students and teachers from all partner schools. They allowed for the creation of common products that reflect the diversity of educational approaches and the creativity of the participants, all with the aim of promoting well-being in school. For each activity, we worked in international groups, made up of partners from two, three or even more countries. These groups, of varying sizes – smaller or larger – were organised according to the theme of the activity and the level of involvement of each team. Thus, the collaboration was efficient and adapted to the specifics of each school, and the exchange of ideas was intense and valuable. Through this transnational teamwork, students had the opportunity to learn from each other, communicate, create together, and enjoy an inclusive and motivating educational environment.

The collage of “boxes” represents the overall picture of eTwinning – an interconnected network, where each member has an important role in a safe, collaborative and inspiring space for students and teachers.

8.EVALUATION:

Within the “Calendar of Wellbeing in School” project, evaluation surveys (initial, mid-term and final), carried out for teachers, students and parents, had the role of measuring the progress and impact of the activities on the well-being of students, of obtaining feedback for the continuous improvement of collaboration and of involving the entire school community in the educational process. The surveys were designed in the form of questions adapted to the age and role of the participants, in order to assess both the knowledge acquired and their personal experiences. At the beginning of the project, the surveys allowed the identification of starting points and the establishment of clear objectives. At the middle of the project, they were used to assess progress and to adjust the activities according to emerging needs. The final evaluation, carried out at the end of the project, provided a complete picture of the results obtained, contributing to the reflection on the entire process and the identification of the most effective practices. The surveys were conducted online, and the collected data was analyzed and discussed within the project teams to improve and support educational activities

9.DISSEMINATION:

The dissemination of results within the "Calendar of Wellbeing in School" project was carried out through various channels, including social networks, blogs, the school website and the class website, where articles, magazines, books and presentations reflecting the activities and achievements of the students were distributed. At the same time, the dissemination between the partners was supported by constant exchanges of information, materials and experiences through common platforms, such as TwinSpace, social media groups (Facebook, WhatsApp), but also through online meetings. These approaches ensured the visibility and impact of the project in the educational community and contributed to strengthening the collaboration between the partner schools, stimulating mutual learning and continuous improvement of educational activities.

10.PROJECT CLOSURE:

At the end of the “Wellbeing in School Calendar” project, the success of the international collaboration will be celebrated in a festive and meaningful way. All participants – students, teachers and educational partners – will receive recognition diplomas for their involvement, creativity and active contribution to promoting well-being in the school environment. This final stage will be a valuable opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship and collaboration created between the partner schools, facilitating the exchange of ideas, good practices and educational experiences. At the same time, the importance of continuity of educational activities dedicated to the well-being of students will be emphasized, encouraging each school community involved to integrate the principles of socio-emotional development into the school routine in the future. Thus, the project will not only end with a positive balance, but will leave behind a solid network of collaboration and a common commitment to supporting a positive, empathetic and inclusive school climate.
