Hello! I'm a Science teacher in a school in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid with students aged 12 to 18. I teach subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Technology, Programming, and Robotics. I am also a tutor for a 3rd year of ESO group and participate in the Peer Tutoring Program. I collaborate in the Eco-School project and I'm passionate about promoting environmental awareness. I'm excited to collaborate with other teachers on e-twinning.
¡Hola! Soy una profesora de Ciencias con experiencia en Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, con alumnos entre 12 y 18 años. Imparto asignaturas como Matemáticas, Física y Química, Tecnología, Programación y Robótica. También soy profesora del grupo de alumnos de altas capacidades. Además, soy tutora de un grupo de 3º ESO y participo en el programa de Tutoría Entre Iguales. También colaboro en el proyecto de Ecoescuela y me apasiona promover la conciencia ambiental.
I am an enthusiastic Science teacher with experience in teaching students aged 12 to 18 at a school in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, Spain. I teach various subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Laboratory, Technology, Programming and Robotics, and I am also teacher in the Gifted and Talented program. Additionally, I actively collaborate in our school's Eco-School project, promoting environmental awareness and sustainability among our students.
As the tutor for a 3rd year of ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) group, within our Tutorial Action Plan, I work tirelessly to ensure the health and well-being of my students. I firmly believe that students' academic and personal success depends on their physical and emotional well-being. Therefore, I address topics related to mental health, healthy eating, stress management, and balancing study and leisure time in our tutorial sessions.
Furthermore, we have successfully implemented a Peer Tutoring Program (TEI) at our school. In this program, 3rd year ESO students take on the role of mentors for 1st year ESO students. This approach fosters mutual support, the development of social skills, and the creation of positive connections between students from different grade levels. As the coordinator of this program, I ensure that the tutors are trained and provide ongoing guidance and support throughout the school year.
My passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom as I actively engage in the Eco-School project. Together with my colleagues, we work to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices within our educational institution. We organize activities related to environmental conservation, waste reduction, and efficient resource use, involving our students and encouraging them to become agents of change for a more sustainable future.
In addition to these responsibilities, I also have experience in teaching subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Laboratory, Technology, Programming, and Robotics. I am passionate about helping students understand complex concepts and fostering their scientific curiosity through hands-on projects and experiments.
I am excited to join the e-twinning community and collaborate with other passionate educators. I firmly believe in the power of exchange and collaboration among colleagues to enrich our teaching practices and provide more meaningful learning experiences for our students.
