The European Toolkit for school success presents concrete ideas for improving collaboration within, between, and beyond schools, aiming to enable all children and young people to succeed in school. School leaders, teachers, parents, and others involved in different aspects of school life can find helpful information, examples of measures taken, and resource materials to inspire their efforts to provide effective, high-quality early childhood and school education. The aim of the Toolkit is to support exchange and experience among school practitioners and policy makers.
As part of the Toolkit, the European Commission has designed an self-assessment tool on inclusion and wellbeing to help teachers and school leaders in primary and secondary schools to evaluate and improve their school's inclusion policies and practices. The self-assessment tool includes a series of targeted questions in six areas and generates a personalised report based on the answers. The report indicates the areas where the school is working well and the areas in which there is room for development.
