The project is a follow-up of the eTwinning projects Down EU Avenue (2022/23) and Vote4Democracy Ambassadors (2023/24), developed by European Parliament Ambassador Schools (EPAS) from Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Spain & Croatia. It will bring together schools already certified as EP Ambassadors and schools aspiring to join the EPAS network. Moreover it will bring into focus the importance of content-language-integrated learning (CLIL), applying SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and STEAM (Science-Technology-Engeneering-Art-Maths) methodology when teaching/learning about the EU (institutions, aims and values) and promoting active (local, national and European) citizenship. The partners will connect, communicate and collaborate in order to reach common goals – create structured lesson plans applying SDG-, CLIL- & STEAM methodology, do and assess sets of classes/workshops (in general- and vocational subjects) on EU citizenship and celebrate/mark notable dates/months with European dimension. All project activities will be carefully planned, carried out in multinational teams & documented in TwinSpace. At the end of the project work a collaborative e-book (of lesson-plans) will be created and made public in a collaborative Europe Day celebration, when physical/online workshops will be organized.
