Topic: Important people, places and traditions in our own towns from our pupils' point of view Total learning time: entire school year Number of students: no limits! Description: You have to prepare and promote your "Children Festival". You have to choose people, places and traditions in your opinion significant because they have contributed to change and enrich your town and your world. Who will you put on a poster, leaflet, wiki page, etwinning space..? Which sentences will you choose? Which places in your town will you choose as performing places? Why? What to share with your partners? The Big Idea in a PBL context is: to involve the children to think and prepare their own festival, choosing arts and characters to put on their posters or leaflets and to convince other children from all over the world to virtually come and visit them during the event.
