“Sport as a laboratory of life” is a concept that highlights how sports can serve as a platform for learning and personal and social development. This course is designed to help educators understand the advantages of engaging in sports and physical activities for children and young individuals.
Description
The course aims to equip participants with practical tools and strategies to effectively encourage students to engage in physical activity on a daily basis.
Participants will explore the positive impacts of sports, methods for motivating physical activity, and outdoor education.
The course will underscore the significance of games, including team building, in the learning process.
Teachers will discover how to influence the development of values such as cooperation, fair play, perseverance, and determination through sports, which are essential not only in sports but also in everyday life and the prospective careers of students.
Throughout the course, participants will also have the opportunity to learn how to promote a healthy lifestyle among students by organizing a variety of sports activities, workshops, and events that encourage physical activity.

Module 1 – Introduction to sports and health
- Defining the role of sports in the lives of children and adolescents.

- Achieving sports goals by building self-acceptance and skills such as patience, perseverance, ability to cope with failures, and teamwork.

Module 3 – Positive effects of sport on physical and mental health
- Discussion of research showing the impact of sport on physical and psychological health.
- The effect of physical activity on preventing obesity and lifestyle diseases.
- How sport helps in coping with emotions and mental burdens.
- The effect of physical activity on endorphin levels and mood improvement.

Methodology & assessment
Participants will engage in hands-on workshops that focus on designing and facilitating physical activities tailored for different age groups. This will encourage creativity and critical thinking in the planning of physical education programs.
2. Problem-Based Ƶing (PBL):
Present real-world scenarios that educators face when promoting physical activity in schools. Participants will work in groups to devise innovative solutions, which encourages collaboration and shared learning.
3. Collaborative Ƶing:
Facilitate group discussions and peer-to-peer teaching opportunities, allowing participants to share their challenges and successes in promoting physical activity. This will foster a community of practice among educators.
