Mindfulness for Teachers: From Burnout to Building Resilience
The course will give you answers to what are the most effective strategies to support teachers experiencing burnout as well as what role can mindfulness and well-being practices play in preventing teacher burnout.
Description
This course is designed to meet the needs of teachers who have recently lost motivation for work and further development. It is also aimed at individuals experiencing crises and lacking the necessary psychological support, resulting in symptoms of burnout. The mental health of teachers is a critical issue, highlighted by the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which explicitly includes goals related to health and well-being in school education.
Throughout this course, participants will gain an understanding of psychological burnout and how to prevent it. They will learn to build mental resilience, manage emotional well-being, practice breathing techniques, and cultivate mindfulness. The course will provide exercises to help develop positive motivation and attitude and teach strategies for achieving job satisfaction and work-life balance.
