MARCH ACTIVITIES
March marks the beginning of spring, bringing with it a sense of renewal and growth.
It’s time to grow in our eTwinning project, too! We all have to collaborate and produce a joint story. For this purpose, we will use a common presentation in Genially. All partners have been sent a link to participate.
Here is how we are going to do it:
The unifying theme will be Sustainability along with 5 goals we consider important.
Each school is going to come up with an idea about a title for the story, what type they would prefer it to be (you can choose from these categories: Adventure/Mystery/Fantasy/Science Fiction/Romance) and 2 main characters: write the names of your two characters and describe them briefly. There are 3 pages for each school about these 3 parts of the story. The deadline for this activity will be March 17th. Then each school will give a vote to the title, type and characters they believe are the best until March 20th (the voting will be done IN Genially in the pages of each school in the section ‘Who else likes this idea?’)
When the title, type and characters of the story are decided upon (March 20), there are going to be 5 groups of 2 schools in each. Each group will have to collaborate with their partner in order to write a chapter in the story. They will use a chatbot for this purpose (like ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek or any other), and write their part of the story. Each chapter is going to be about a sustainability goal (you can find more information about them in the +Info section on each group’s page). There are goals in each team but if you and your partner want to choose another goal it's fine!
Each group is going to introduce students to writing an appropriate prompt for their chosen sustainability goal. In the prompt they should put all the necessary information for their part: Length (not more than 100 words), language level (A1 or A1-), dialogues between the 2 characters of the story, and other things they consider important. When each team has got their outcome from the chatbot they chose they can ask students if they are satisfied with it. If the students have other or more ideas they can add them, of course!
When each group writes the chapter they will have to make a picture to accompany it with text-to-image AI tools (like Canva magic means, Craiyon, Clipdrop, Heygen or any other) and even animate this picture (try Hailuo!).
This will be done with the same partner in April.
