Curriculum integration

The project contains themes closely related to the curriculum of the subject of English in the 6th grade in Murcia that is:
developing reading and writing skills, encouraging oral communication, promoting creativity and introducing basic digital literacy. So, I have introduced the composing of the story and the description of avatars and characters in every formative unit as well as the song related to No Planet B in the section of culture and creativity of unit 5.

The activities worked in the project have helped students develop 21st century skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.
Students were able to learn about the diverse cultures of the participant countries in the webinars and so developing as global citizens. By participating in the tasks and working in groups, students improved their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, as well as their ability to learn English language structures in a practical way rather than theoretical. Some competences worked are: learn to learn by the different investigations carried out in some tasks, for example, when investigating about SDG 6 to write a story; the digital competence as they have used lots of web2/3 tools related to AI and plurilingual competence using their native language, English and learning some words of the other countries taking place in the project. The also developed the specific competence of English of interacting with other people using digital resources through students webinars and the chats of the Twinspace.
