Hi there! I’m Çağatay, but you can call me Chatay—it’s easier for everyone to remember. I’m thrilled to be here and excited about the opportunity to collaborate with foreign friends on international projects. Travel has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve been fortunate to explore many countries across Europe. These experiences have been incredibly enriching, and I’m eager to provide my students with similar opportunities to broaden their horizons and gain priceless life experiences. In today’s interconnected world, building international friendships and understanding different cultures is more important than ever, and I believe these projects are a fantastic way to achieve that.

I had the privilege of participating in the Erasmus program in Poland for a year, an experience that profoundly shaped my perspective on education and cultural exchange. I’ve seen firsthand how transformative these opportunities can be for students, and I’m passionate about creating similar impactful experiences for others. Beyond academics, I’ve been playing underwater rugby for the past 8 years, a sport that has not only taught me teamwork and perseverance but also connected me with people from diverse backgrounds. I’m always eager to share my international experiences and learn from others as well.
