These videos capture the inspiring stories behind the four runner-up eTwinning projects from the 2024 eTwinning European prizes. Each project showcases innovative ideas, promotes international collaboration and shows an impact on pupils’ learning experience.

Little citizens

The runner-up in the ≤6 years age group tackled social challenges in society, helping pupils understand the importance of their actions as global citizens. Teachers from Estonia, France, Greece and Portugal worked together, integrating their school activities into the project to ensure its success.

Kids save lives #skillslabs

The runner-up project in the 7–11 years age group started with the idea of combining first aid education with other subjects, and later expanded to include environmental sustainability. Teachers from Germany, Greece and Türkiye worked on fun and collaborative activities with their pupils, to help them develop important social and 21st-century skills.

Let’s podcast!

The runner-up project in the 12–15 years age group used podcasts – a format familiar to pupils – to help them build skills in literacy, teamwork and cultural awareness. Teachers and pupils from Poland and Spain worked together to explore a wide range of topics using this engaging tool.

Potes en voyage avec eTwinning / Compis de viaje con eTwinning

The runner-up project in the 16–19 years age group explored the theme of ‘journeys’ using a cross-curricular approach, helping pupils learn multiple subjects at once. Teachers and pupils from France and Spain created a virtual world inspired by fictional travel diaries, allowing them to explore and discover each other’s countries.
