I have nature in my art

Nature is everywhere which means so too can art. Anything in nature can be used and reused. Students can explore their world with all of their senses, through hands on experiences they see their evolving creations, the colours, the patterns, they feel the textures of the materials; the soft petals, the rough bark, smooth stones, and smell the fragrant leaves and flowers. Through nature and respecting for nature, they learn to sort, match, classify, and order, all important parts of developing early math skills. It’s important to teach students why they should reduce, reuse, recycle and why these are important practices in our daily lives. Using recycled materials to make things for kids is an excellent way to make recycling a fun feature of your home. This means that you’re both recycling and making some great things for your child to enjoy.
