The purpose of the project "# Castel Baronia 2.0 ... Yesterday, today and tomorrow" is to make pupils recover their cultural identity, through the study and knowledge of their roots, their history, traditions, languages and through the famous people to whom Castel Baronia gave birth. The direct knowledge of the territory and the awareness of its changes will develop in the children a sense of belonging to their community of origin. Each pupil must therefore be competent and able to "read" the place where he/she lives and its resources (including agri-food), and also able to grasp the importance of protecting the naturalistic and landscape heritage. The second phase of the project foresees that the material produced by the pupils is translated into English and uploaded to the e-Twinning platform, a community of European schools that allows them to communicate, collaborate, develop projects and share ideas.
