In the education process, students face problems with understanding due to the complexity, necessity of abstract thinking and concepts. More and more educational centres around the world have started to introduce powerful new technology-based tools that help meet the needs of the diverse student population. Over the last several years, virtual reality (VR) has moved from being the purview of gaming to professional development. It plays an important role in teaching process, providing an interesting and engaging way of acquiring information.


The definition of virtual reality comes, naturally, from the definitions for both ‘virtual’ and ‘reality’. The definition of ‘virtual’ is near and reality is what we experience as human beings. So the term ‘virtual reality’ basically means ‘near-reality’. This could, of course, mean anything but it usually refers to a specific type of reality emulation. Methodology & assessment

This course uses an experiential learning approach, combining short theoretical inputs with immersive hands-on activities in virtual environments. Participants will design and experience VR-based educational content, engage in discussions, and collaborate on projects. Assessment is based on active participation, task performance, and the development of a sample VR lesson or learning experience by the end of the course.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

Participants will use VR headsets and educational VR software, supported by guides, structured activities, and curated digital resources. All necessary tools and materials are provided, and resources remain available for future use and adaptation.

Participant certificate will be provided at the end of the course.
