Methodology & assessment
The input sessions are a blend of theory and practice in using technology across a range of classes for all age groups. It is suitable for teachers of all levels of experience. Putting participants “in a student’s shoes” will help them understand the mechanisms involved in a fully interactive class.
The course looks at using technology to build a lesson with the aim of having a ‘ready-to-go’ lesson structure in place. Different applications and web tools will be presented to offer a variety and choice to the participants. This is important as they need to feel comfortable when using their new-found expertise. Ƶers are familiar with the use of simple ICT tools and supporting this in class enhances motivation and interaction. Using ICT in and for the classroom is an ideal way to connect and integrate learning both in and out of school or class.
