
English for teachers with educational visits to schools (Mallorca)
This Erasmus course is crafted for teachers with an A2 to B1 English level (according to the CEFR) who wish to boost their English communication skills, making them more comfortable using English in the classroom, during different Erasmus mobilities or in their daily life.
Description
The course combines English-centered lessons, interactive workshops, and experiential field activities that immerse participants in Mallorcan culture. These hands-on experiences will inspire participants to create contextualized educational content, bridging real-life experiences and classroom learning. Participants will also have an opportunity to visit two local schools.
In addition to the scheduled sessions, participants will have the option to join extra cultural activities in the afternoons for an additional fee. These activities include a guided visit to Palma de Mallorca, the vibrant capital of the island, where participants can explore its historic architecture, bustling markets, and beautiful coastline. For a taste of Mallorca’s culinary heritage, there will also be a wine and tapas tasting experience, offering a chance to savor local flavors and enjoy the island’s renowned hospitality.

Objectives:
Enhance English proficiency: Improve communication skills, especially oral fluency, by engaging in real-life English interactions with peers from different European countries.
Build confidence: Equip teachers to use English more naturally in their classrooms and in everyday settings.
Promote European cultural exchange: Strengthen intercultural awareness and appreciation of diverse European traditions and lifestyles.
Exchange of good practices: Exchange good practices among the participants in combination with an educational visit to a local school.
Methodology & assessment
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
Participants are advised to bring their own digital device (such as a laptop or tablet) to enhance their learning experience, but this is not compulsory. All necessary course materials will be provided in printed format, allowing participants to follow along easily during sessions. Additionally, materials will be projected on Smart TVs, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning environment.
Certification details
- At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance, confirming their successful completion of the training.
- The certificate will include details such as the course title, duration (total hours), learning objectives, and key topics covered.
- The course follows the Erasmus Quality Standards, ensuring its alignment with the objectives of the Erasmus+ program.

Course package content:
The course package includes a 6-day training program, featuring interactive workshops, hands-on practice, and expert guidance. As part of the course, participants will also take part in an educational visit to a local school, where they will have the opportunity to talk to teachers and students.
Please note that accommodation, meals, and cultural activities are not included in the course fee.
