No matter where you grow up, where you go, your culture will always be something you can take with you. Cultural heritage can come in many forms: tangible, intangible, and natural. Tangible heritage consists of artifacts like sculptures, paintings, manuscripts, etc.

Tangible heritage consists of artifacts like sculptures, paintings, manuscripts, etc. Intangible heritage consists of oral tradition, rituals, and performing arts. Natural heritage consist of cultural landscapes and geological landscapes, any type of landscape that is naturally formed. It is very important that we protect our cultural heritage so our future generations can continue to look upon their past as we do. The importance behind the types of cultural heritages in a student’s life should be relevant in their education.

Methodology & assessment
This course is based on experiential learning, interdisciplinary projects, and site-specific exploration. Participants engage in workshops, cultural mapping activities, collaborative discussions, and local visits to historical sites. They reflect on how cultural heritage can be embedded into different subjects and student projects. Assessment is carried out through active participation and the creation of an educational activity or project plan that integrates cultural heritage into the school curriculum.

Participants are provided with sample heritage-based lesson plans, project templates, visual resources, and storytelling tools. Access to curated online archives, virtual heritage tools, and multimedia content supports their work during and after the course.
