Description

This course is for teachers who want to understand what AI can actually do to support their work in the classroom. Whether you're new to AI or have only used it like a search engine, this training introduces you to powerful, education-friendly tools that can save time, spark creativity, and enhance student learning. You'll explore how to use AI for lesson planning, generating teaching materials, differentiating content, and giving feedback—using platforms like ChatGPT, Eduaide, MagicSchool, Canva, and more. The course covers a wide range of tools and use cases, with practical demos, hands-on sessions, and a few deeper dives to build real confidence. By the end of the week, you'll leave with a personal toolkit of AI strategies you can start using in your own teaching right away.

Methodology & assessment

The workshop uses a practical, tool-based approach designed specifically for educators. Each day introduces a category of AI tools, with hands-on experimentation, guided prompts, and real-world teaching scenarios. Participants will gradually build an AI-supported classroom resource. A certificate of attendance will be issued by EIAPD. Optional assessment available on request.

The course fee covers participation in the workshop and coffee/water during the sessions.
Accommodation, meals, and transport are not included in the course package and must be arranged independently by the participant.
