Pitching Research in English
Ƶ how to present your research clearly, confidently, and persuasively in English. This practical course helps researchers craft compelling pitches for grants, interviews, and international audiences through guided practice and expert feedback.
Description
For many researchers, the ability to clearly and confidently present their work is key to securing funding, building partnerships, and making an impact — especially when doing so in English. This course supports non-native English-speaking academics in developing concise, compelling research pitches tailored to real-world contexts such as grant proposals, panel interviews, and international collaboration.
Participants will learn to clarify their core research message, adapt their language for different audiences, and improve their delivery for greater impact — all while strengthening their confidence using English in high-stakes settings. Through language-focused input, structured practice, and supportive peer feedback, researchers will leave better equipped to communicate their work with professionalism, precision, and purpose.
