Thanks. Nice
Today, it has been shown by research that our students spend an average of 6.5 hours in front of the screen. The time spent in front of the screen is as follows. With this project, we aim to encourage and increase respect, empathy and kindness in our students, and especially to reduce cyberbullying during this long time our students spend in front of the screen. In order to reduce PEER BULLYING ON THE SCREEN and to highlight and increase positive behaviors; all members of this project produce posters, logos, slogans, shared stories and digital games. We do this with project-based learning. We create solutions by forming mixed country teams. We produce all products in this regard in collaboration using web 2 tools. Our students express their opinions about solution suggestions and/or peer courtesy that they may encounter on the screen with outputs such as sound, image, digital game posters and logos. They carry out dissemination activities in their classes and schools. We use game-based learning in this project. We produce using web 2 tools. This 5-month project is carried out with 10 Turkish, 2 Romanian and 1 Bulgarian partners. The project, which has 60 students enrolled, includes a virtual classroom (Twinspace) within the European Schools Education Platform (ESEP). The members of this project receive education in a very safe manner in this virtual classroom using tools such as tiwinmail, twinboard, forum chat room, meeting room, forum survey and similar tools, and carry out project-based group work in collaboration with mixed country teams. Educational institutions and parents can contribute to building a more peaceful and understanding society in the future by teaching children the importance of kindness and empathy.
