Inclusive ºìÌÒÊÓƵing Through Green & STEM Adventures

This eTwinning project aims to foster the inclusion of students with special needs by engaging them in extracurricular activities centered around Green Education and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Through hands-on projects, such as environmental conservation, sustainable gardening, and basic STEM experiments, students will develop essential skills in a supportive and interactive environment. The project promotes collaboration, creativity, and real-world learning, ensuring that all students, regardless of their abilities, feel included and empowered to contribute to their communities. 1. Virtual Green Education Workshop:Objective: Teach students about environmental conservation through interactive presentations and discussions.Description: Students from both schools collaborate on creating a shared online presentation (e.g., Google Slides) about eco-friendly practices in their local communities. They discuss topics such as recycling, reducing waste, and energy conservation via video conferencing. Each group presents their findings to the other.Tools: Google Slides, Twinspace/Teams.2. Sustainable Gardening Challenge:Objective: Share gardening techniques and explore the benefits of sustainable agriculture.Description: Students create small indoor gardens (e.g., planting herbs in recycled containers) and document their progress through weekly photo/video updates on a shared platform. Groups compare results and discuss growth techniques in online meetings.Tools: Padlet or Trello for updates, WhatsApp/Zoom for discussions.3. STEM Experiment Virtual Fair:Objective: Perform simple STEM experiments and share results online.Description: Each school conducts basic experiments (e.g., building a simple circuit, creating a DIY water filter). Students record and share their experiments in a collaborative online folder, explaining the steps and outcomes during a live session.Tools: Google Drive, Canva for videos, MS Teams/Google Meet for live presentations.4. Collaborative Storytelling: "Our Green Future":Objective: Develop creativity and teamwork by writing a collaborative story.Description: Students from both schools co-write an e-book about an eco-friendly world in the future. Using a shared document, they contribute chapters, create illustrations, and add multimedia elements. The completed story is showcased in an online event.Tools: Google Docs, Book Creator, Canva.5. Online Quiz on STEM and Green Topics:Objective: Reinforce learning in an interactive and fun way.Description: Organize a friendly online quiz competition where students from both schools answer questions on environmental conservation and basic STEM concepts. Teams are mixed to ensure collaboration across schools.Tools: Kahoot or Quizizz, MS Teams/Zoom for live interaction.
