3R - Reduction, Reuse, Recycle
The activities proposed in this work package are intended to make students aware of the need to reduce resource consumption.
- An "Eco patrol" will be set up in each partner institution. Eco patrol students will participate in a workshop organized by NGOs whose object of activity is environmental protection or which will be led by a specialist in the field. After participating in this workshop, the eco patrol will organize monthly meetings with students from the school on the topic of reducing resource consumption and selective collection. All planned activities help school to become more sustainable. Climate change should be considered as a serious issue. Especially for future generations. That is why education is a crucial factor in the global fight against climate change. The most important one encourages students to
change their behavior and helps them to adapt to what is already a global emergency.
- Christmas Fair with greeting cards made by students using various IT tools, which contain messages on environmental issues and sustainable gift ideas (gifts made from recyclable materials) ;
- "Green competition" - a competition between partners, who collects the the largest amount of recyclable materials.
- "Consumer Journal". Students in the target group of the project will monitor the consumption of resources (electricity, gas, water and food resources). At the end of the resource consumption monitoring period, they will develop posters to illustrate the strategy they have adopted to reduce resource consumption.
- "Ideas for a green town" - a competition of proposals made by students to make the place where they live more environmentally friendly.
-Monthly - meetings between school leaders and students, on the consumption of resources of institutions.
