Being or well being:that is the question

This project will help students to reflect and discuss their well-being. Starting from the definition and general understanding of health, the teachers will guide students to analyze the key elements of well being including the main mental health issues. Students will learn di identify and distinguish their feelings with practical games, tips and cooperative works; they will create a specific glossary that they could use in the study groups.Well-being issues and their concerning data will be discussed into international teams. According to students needs, teachers will propose specific topic to analyze the impact of anxious, social and eating disorders. The discussion in each international team will be monitored by a teacher, followed by online meetings and summed up with the production of a digital presentation. Moreover the risky behaviors will be identified (drugs, alcohol, game addiction) and the students will be oriented to prevention strategies from life style to the relevance of family and social support. Finally the students will be aware of the strategies to take in place to protect their well being and teachers will help them to fight the stigma on mental health. Finally the students will produce a cooperative work with tips to well-being and to manage stress. Students will work cooperatively and in international team to produce a final flyer, sticker, podcast or video to share into the school and community.
