Our project is inspired by the science fiction novella of Ursula K. Le Guin The Word for World is Forest (1972) that explores themes of colonialism, environmentalism,& the intrinsic value of nature.Forests are not only the lungs of our planet but also essential ecosystems that provide critical resources,support livelihoods,& sustain cultural & social heritage.However,human activities,deforestation,& climate change are threatening these invaluable resources.This project aims to empower students,educators,& communities to take meaningful action by fostering awareness,knowledge,& skills to safeguard forests for future generations. Our project actually is a call to action for education to play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future.By addressing urgent global challenges,promoting inclusion & innovation,& fostering international collaboration,this project has the potential to create meaningful & lasting change.Funding this initiative will empower our students to become champions of environmental stewardship & active citizens in their communities,ensuring a better future for all.
