This eTwining project introduces opinion leaders who have left their mark on the world through digital storytelling. By examining prominent figures who lived in different periods, the citizenship awareness and responsibility concepts of these individuals in their own countries and in the world will be analyzed, and their global impacts will be emphasized. The project will also contribute to students gaining a global perspective by supporting collaboration and digital literacy skills. Within the scope of the project; storytelling techniques will be used by bringing together visual, auditory and written elements. Thus, opportunities will be provided to develop both critical thinking and creative expression skills. Thanks to digital storytelling, students will make their learning permanent by making sense of historical events and important figures more effective. In addition, using English as the project language will contribute to the development of their foreign language skills; It will help them communicate globally by supporting their research, writing, speaking and listening skills. The project will contribute to the development of 21st century competencies with the aims of supporting collaboration, media literacy and digitalization, and becoming a global citizen.
