Joyful Lessons, sosyal ve duygusal öğrenmeyi (SDÖ) merkeze alan, öğrencilerin duygusal zekâlarını geliştirmelerine, empati kurmalarına ve iletişim becerilerini güçlendirmelerine olanak tanıyan yenilikçi bir eğitim projesidir. Projenin özgün yanı, kuklaları eğitimin bir parçası olarak entegre etmesidir. Kuklalar, sınıf ortamını daha eğlenceli hale getirirken, çocukların duygu ve düşüncelerini ifade etmelerine yardımcı olan güçlü bir araçtır. Bunun yanı sıra öğrencilerin problem çözme ve empati becerilerini geliştirmelerini, derse aktif katılımlarını, öğrendiklerini içselleştirmelerini, takım çalışması, işbirliği yeteneklerini geliştirmelerini, birbirlerine saygı duymalarını sağlarlar. Öğrenciler kendi kuklalarını tasarlayıp, kendi hikâyelerini oluşturarak hayal güçlerini geliştirirler. Bu süreç, hem duygusal hem de yaratıcı düşünmeyi destekler. Öğrenciler ders sonunda olumlu düşünür ve mutlu hissederler .Kuklalarla desteklenen bu tür bir eğitim, öğrencilerin duygusal farkındalığını artırırken aynı zamanda interaktif ve eğlenceli bir öğrenme ortamı oluşturur. Joyful Lessons is an innovative educational project that focuses on social and emotional learning (SEL), allowing students to develop their emotional intelligence, empathize and strengthen their communication skills. The unique aspect of the project is that it integrates puppets as part of the education. Puppets make the classroom environment more fun and are a powerful tool that helps children express their feelings and thoughts. In addition, they enable students to develop their problem-solving and empathy skills, actively participate in the lesson, internalize what they have learned, develop teamwork and cooperation skills, and respect each other. Students develop their imagination by designing their own puppets and creating their own stories. This process supports both emotional and creative thinking. Students think positively and feel happy at the end of the lesson. This type of education supported by puppets increases students' emotional awareness while also creating an interactive and fun learning environment. Children both develop social skills and learn by having fun. Just imagining such an approach being implemented with puppets in education proves how impressive it is, doesn't it?
