Hydroponics, AI, and IoT for Sustainable Education

The HAI project aims to enhance environmental awareness and promote sustainable agricultural practices through hands-on hydroponics, integrating STEM education with a focus on IoT and AI technologies. It seeks to empower teachers with the necessary skills for this integration and encourage a multidisciplinary educational approach to address environmental and climate change challenges effectively. Key activities include the development of a Hydroponic IoT Kit equipped with various sensors and an AI platform for real-time data analysis, alongside creating comprehensive training programs for educators. The project also involves the establishment of the Hydroponic Community Hub as a platform for sharing resources, lesson plans, and collaborative projects focused on sustainable agriculture. HAI recognizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to education that encourages innovation and creativity. Combining biology, chemistry, physics, technology, and mathematics through hydroponics and environmental monitoring, HAI enables students to see the interconnectedness of different disciplines and how they can be applied in synergy to solve complex problems. This approach prepares students to think critically and innovatively about the challenges facing our world.
