We live in a society that celebrates holidays and ideas that we don’t truly understand the reasons and customs for. This project will aimed at discovering and attempting to understand the history and origins of where our countries heritage and culture originated, where still shines though and where in could be going. We want to encourage the participants to not only learn about and understand their own culture and heritage, but others as well. Students will discover their history and the history of the countries around them, this growth of cultural awareness and respect can only aid them in their future and help develop them into kind, thoughtful and open minded participants of our beautiful world.
