Fostering the Active Citizens of Tomorrow” (FACT) is a collaborative eTwinning project for 2024–2025, involving 8 schools, 11 teachers, and 135 students aged 14–18 across Türkiye (6), North Macedonia (1), and Romania (1). We aimed to raise awareness about democracy, inclusion, environmental sustainability, and European values. Using Web 2.0 tools, students took part in activities that promoted interdisciplinary learning and enhanced 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, digital literacy and creativity. The project fostered a collaborative space where students expressed themselves, while developing the key competences defined by the European Framework and growing into responsible, virtuous, and engaged citizens.
