Workshop for educators: Our school – aware of prejudice and fit for diversity!

Prejudices shape our perception, our togetherness and thus also everyday pedagogical life. The focuses on practical exercises and methods that sensitise teachers to the diversity of the school and promote a sensitive handling of differences. Furthermore, materials for everyday school life are presented (games, exercises) and an exchange of experiences between the participants is made possible. In the context of group work, the participating teachers collect ideas to implement in their own schools.
The workshop goals are to:
- impart knowledge about prejudiced and diversity-oriented education;
- collect measures for implementation at school;
- provide suggestions (methods, best practice, etc.) for a positive approach to diversity at school;
- create a change of perspective and examination of one’s own prejudices.
Moreover, other seminars and trainings and runs projects that promote civic engagement, international networking and mutual respect.
