Through hands-on exercises and collaborative discussions, participants will gain actionable resources to empower students with empathy, understanding of diversity, and awareness of their rights and responsibilities.

About the speakers

Korina Hatzinikolaou

Korina Hatzinikolaou holds the position of Associate Professor of Developmental Psychopathology, School of Early Childhood Education, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She has been the Principal Investigator of large international research and action-research projects on early human development, early childhood education, child protection, and promotion of children’s rights. Currently, she collaborates with UNICEF on international projects to support reforms in the ECEC sector in European countries. She has closely collaborated with health and social protection State Agencies, field NGOs and European and International organizations (e.g. CoE, OSCE, UNODC). She has authored scientific articles, book chapters, and technical reports on issues related to her expertise.
