Webinar information
Description
This webinar will focus on best practices for promoting shared values in education. It will open with an introduction by the eTwinning featured groups ‘eTwinning newcomers’ and ‘Citizenship education: celebrating what unites us’, highlighted during the month of September.
Next, we will hear the success stories behind two outstanding eTwinning projects:
- Cristina Gila and Zuzana Mészárosová, will share their experiences from the 2025 prize-winning project Keeping the memory @live. By deepening the understanding of historical and social issues—particularly those related to the Holocaust and citizenship—the project powerfully demonstrates how education can promote tolerance, diversity, and human rights in today's world.
- Yvonne Hofbauer and Isabel Béreau-Baumann will present their project Let's create a paralympic village!, which won the eTwinning National Award in France. By celebrating the values of Olympic and Paralympic sport, the project raised pupils' awareness of inclusion and better understand the daily challenges and discrimination faced by people in this social context.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in the discussion through a padlet, where they can share their own success stories, and through an open Q&A session on cultivating shared values in the classroom
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, share, and be inspired!
