Event information
Description
The Erasmus+ Programme Education for Climate Coalition is the European participatory community aimed at supporting teaching and learning for the green transition and sustainable development. As a flagship initiative of the European Education Area by 2025 and an essential part of the European Green Deal, the Coalition is integral to the European Union's comprehensive approach to environmental sustainability education.
Since its beginning, the Coalition has facilitated cooperation among teachers, educators, learners, researchers, policy makers and other stakeholders such as schools, universities and NGOs. To foster this vibrant community, we regularly organise participatory activities and community events, including community cafés where members can network, connect, and explore new ideas on education. These events provide a platform for exchanging thoughts and experiences, enriching the educational journey for everyone involved.
ºìÌÒÊÓƵ us at our next Community Café on 8 May for a thrilling conversation about climate and education! You will have a chance to meet fellow educators, get inspired by groundbreaking initiatives, and contribute to the conversation.
On this occasion, our special guest, Maria Angélica MejÃa Caceres, an expert in critical environmental education, climate change education and educational policy, will share with us insights on the innovative work of the ºìÌÒÊÓƵing Planet Institute.
