This 25-hour Erasmus+ course, spread over 5 days, is designed to equip European teachers with the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to effectively integrate the principles of environmental, social, and economic sustainability into their daily teaching. In an era of growing awareness of global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and social inequalities, it is crucial that education plays a key role in shaping conscious and responsible citizens, capable of contributing to a more sustainable future.

Participants will gain a deep understanding of the key concepts of sustainability and how these connect to different subject areas. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

- Use active and participatory teaching methodologies to address sustainability topics.
- Select and adapt existing teaching resources to integrate sustainability into their lessons.
- Design innovative learning activities that promote critical thinking and environmental awareness in students.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects on sustainability.
- Evaluate the impact of their teaching actions on students' understanding of sustainability.
- Create a personal action plan to integrate sustainability into their professional practice.

Methodology & assessment
Practical workshops: group activities, simulations, and case study analyses.
Guided discussions: exchange of experiences and reflections among participants.
Interactive presentations: introduction of theoretical concepts with practical examples.
Group work: development of collaborative teaching projects.
Study visits (optional): exploration of local best practices related to sustainability.
Assessment will be based on active participation in course activities, the completion of a short individual action plan for the integration of sustainability into their teaching, and the (group) presentation of a concrete project idea. There will be no formal examination. Emphasis will be placed on practical learning and the ability to apply the acquired concepts in their professional context.
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
We will provide digital teaching materials (presentations, worksheets, useful links), access to online platforms for sharing resources, and digital tools for creating interactive activities. Relevant books, articles, and websites on sustainability education will also be suggested.

The package includes: 25-hour course, bureaucratic assistance, coffee breaks, participation certificates, logistical assistance upon request (e.g., accommodation search).
