Daily programme: 

 Day 1 :

Participants’ arrivalIndividual orientation and information about the venue and the cityIndividual expectations, setting goals for the weekPresentation of ESD and its 4 pillars and the 17 Sustainable Development GoalsRole of teachers in Education for Sustainable Development 

Day 2 : 

Reflection on how to broaden the experience outside my school, involving my studentsWho are the actors working with schools ?The different areas where schools can be located and their possible issuesHow to start a project and to include ?Team activitiesVisit of a permaculture farmDinner in traditional French restaurant 

Day 3 :

Ƶing objectives

During the course, participants will :- Become familiar with Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and learn about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals-Build a reflexive approach on their own practice inside and outside the classroom to keep students engrossed and motivated throughout their school curriculums.-Reflect on the best way to effectively implement ESD into their teaching methods-Ƶ how to lead exciting environment-friendly projects and promote “green” activities                    -Share experiences and exchange good practices with teachers and education staff from all over Europe.

Methodology & assessment

This course is based on participants’ needs and interests related to their areas of teaching and professional development. Designed specifically to ensure interactivity through input sessions, group project and collaborative work, the course will allow participants to be actively involved at each stage of the training.
Led by professionals of education with a real experience of teaching, the course will take the form of hands-on workshops with exchanges of practices, brainstorming, analysis and real case scenario examples, participants will reflect on the tools and strategies that will make an impact in their daily practice. A great emphasis will be therefore put on collaboration and interaction between participants to create relevant resources and projects that each of them will be able to take back to school.

All the materials will be provided by the course organiser.

Certification details

Each participant will be granted a Certificate of Attendance as well as Certificate of Obtained Competences.  If requested - a Europass Mobility Certificate will be issued. Our courses are created and conducted accordingly to Quality Standards for courses under Key Action 1We provide participants with help in completing Ƶing Agreements, as well as any documents necessary for their organisations.

    - For cancellations done at least 30 days before the start of the internship: full reimbursement

    - For cancellations done at least 14 days before the start of the internship: reimbursement of the 80% of the course fee

     - For any other later cancellations: no reimbursement is previewed 

    In case of a force majeure individual cancelation rules may apply.
