Daily programme:
Day 1 :
Participants’ arrival
Individual orientation and information about the venue and the city
Introduction of each participant and their schools.
Expectations and setting goals for the week
Special educational needs as a concept
Making sense of learning and difficulties in learning
Day 2 :
Understanding learners with special needs
Designing and implementing differentiated instruction
Creating and inclusive classroom environment for all students
Promoting positive behaviour to increase students engagement
Day 3 :
Facilitating social skills: overcoming behavioural issues
How is an inclusive classroom managed
How to better communicate with special needs students
Strategies to increase interaction and peer-to-peer collaboration
Day 4 :
Neuroscience to understand achievement in SEN
Best practices in assessment and accountability
Using self-worth theory to improve and maintain motivation
The role of new technologies to support individualised learning
Day 5 :
Space for discussion of futu

During the course, participants will :
- Ƶ how to diagnose students with special needs and be familiar with the different pathologies.
- Have the opportunity to gain thorough knowledge about how the different school systems in Europe
-respond to the challenge of inclusive teaching.
- Create collectively ready-to-use resources, tools and activities that engage students in a meaningful manner.
- Review the latest methods used in the science of education on how to effectively provide a favourable inclusive environment to all students.
- Boost up their ICT knowledge and innovate in their teaching methods by creating compelling learning resources and adapted tasks to the needs of their students.
Methodology & assessment
Led by professionals of education with a real experience of teaching, the course will take the form of hands-on workshops with exchanges of practices, brainstorming, analysis and real case scenario examples, participants will reflect on the tools and strategies that will make an impact in their daily practice. A great emphasis will be therefore put on collaboration and interaction between participants to create relevant resources and projects that each of them will be able to take back to school.

Certification details
Each participant will be granted a Certificate of Attendance as well as Certificate of Obtained Competences.
If requested - a Europass Mobility Certificate will be issued.

We provide participants with help in completing Ƶing Agreements, as well as any documents necessary for their organisations.

Cancellation & changes:
- For cancellations done at least 30 days before the start of the internship: full reimbursement
- For cancellations done at least 14 days before the start of the internship: reimbursement of the 80% of the course fee
- For any other later cancellations: no reimbursement is previewed
