- Experiment and apply participatory design concepts, methods, and tools for Climate Change in your educational environment.
- Ƶ how to embed climate literacy into your teaching, fostering a deeper understanding of environmental issues among students.

- Ƶ to foster community-wide participation, engaging stakeholders inside and outside the school.
- Develop effective workshop leadership skills with specific outcomes using a Participation Plan.
- Encourage student ownership and agency, preparing them to navigate and shape an increasingly complex world.
- Enhance students’ skills in creativity, fostering active citizenship around climate and public space issues, cultural identity, and community resilience.

Methodology & assessment
Subsequently, we will move on to workshop-style sessions instead of traditional lectures to enhance active participation from everyone. Finally, we will co-design your next steps using participatory design tools and visit a school workshop that is actively involved in participatory design activities.
All sessions are based on an experiential learning approach, ensuring an enjoyable and inclusive process.
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
Course materials include guides on participatory design, online collaboration platforms, sensory mapping tools, digital design software, climate data apps, and educational videos. Digital tools like mapping apps, shared whiteboards, and interactive surveys support engagement. Teachers receive templates and customizable resources to support and implement participatory planning exercises in various educational contexts.

Course package content:
The total cost of the seven-day course is €400 (€80 per day). This includes:
- Tuition fees
- Course materials
- One guided city tour
- Coffee breaks
- All required documentation (certificates, Ƶing Agreement, Ƶing Agreement Complement, Europass Mobility document)
Additionally, we offer optional cultural trips during the course, which are arranged with a trusted local company. Details and pricing will be available two months before the course begins.

Cancellation & changes:
must be communicated via Mail (courses@spatiateacheracademy.eu).
Enrolled students who cannot take part in the course for any reasons can always be replaced by another participant from the same organization, free of charge.
If students cancel at least 3 months before the beginning of the course(s), SPATIA will refund the entire amount.
In case of force majeure the Foundation will offer the possibility to change dates and course to students free of charge.
