PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND INTERNATIONALIZATION 5 DAYS
This course is aimed at teachers and all those who are interested in international partnership projects. The course will provide a brief overview of EU funding opportunities for school partnership projects and focus on theoretical background and development of skills for successful implementation of international school partnership projects.
Description
The course consists of 25 didactic hours and includes the following modules:
- Introduction of participants, warm ups and ice breakers, outline of the programme
- Overview of the opportunities for international partnership projects for schools
- Establishing ground rules for group work and collaboration through delegating tasks and assigning roles in the group
- Introduction to leadership, leadership chemicals, practical workshop on leadership, leadership styles
- Online tools for collaboration on international partnership projects, eTwinning, School Education Gateway
- Individual support
- Presentation of outcomes, discussion, evaluation and closing session
- Teambuilding and networking activities
- City tour or a cultural trip

- Overview of possibilities for international school partnership projects within the context of EU.
- Understanding of coaching as a leadership style and the ability to organize peer-coaching as a model for quality assurance and monitoring.
- Understanding of and the ability to use gamification to facilitate participation and engagement of the project team members and target groups.
- Understanding biological, psychological and social aspects of leadership and the ability to recognize, adopt and facilitate different leadership styles in order to manage group work and cooperation.
- Understanding of coaching as a leadership style and development of coaching skills.
- Understanding of different types of roles in the group and how to manage and assign them to encourage collaboration.
- Developing communication, collaboration, presentation, problem solving, negotiation, critical and creative thinking skills.

All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.
Certification details
Certificate includes the topic, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants.

Course package content:
The course fee includes tution and materials for the course. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves. We do not charge anything extra apart from the 400 EUR course fee.

Cancellation & changes:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances we will offer a free re-schedualing to be used within 6 months.
