- This 7-day training is designed for teachers and educators eager to integrate outdoor and adventure-based learning into their teaching practices. Through hands-on workshops, cultural experiences, and real-world applications, participants will explore how nature, museums, and urban spaces can become interactive learning environments. The program covers ecological responsibility, interdisciplinary learning, and mindfulness in nature while fostering teamwork and inclusivity. Participants will develop practical skills in planning outdoor lessons, using polysensory learning techniques, and implementing adventure-based education. With guided excursions, traditional dinners, and reflective exercises, this course offers a holistic approach to education, blending theory with practice.

Methodology & assessment
Ƶing by Doing: Hands-on outdoor experiences, adventure challenges, and ecological activities.
Collaborative Ƶing: Group projects, peer exchanges, and shared reflections.
Photovoice Method: Using photography to document learning experiences.
Minimal Theoretical Input: Focused on practical application.
Assessment includes active participation in discussions, group work, and personal reflections. Participants will also develop an action plan to integrate outdoor education into their own schools.

Trainer: Marta Margiel, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Humanities. Active in the NGO sector as a non-formal educator. Her research interests focus on inclusive education, diversity and equality in the EU, and participatory evaluation, aiming to create meaningful, transformative learning experiences.

Course package content:
The total cost of the seven-day course is €560 (€80 per day). This includes:
- Tuition fees

Additionally, we offer optional cultural trips during the course, which are arranged with a trusted local company. Details and pricing will be available two months before the course begins.

Cancellation & changes:
must be communicated via Mail (courses@spatiateacheracademy.eu).
Enrolled students who cannot take part in the course for any reasons can always be replaced by another participant from the same organization, free of charge.
If students cancel at least 3 months before the beginning of the course(s), SPATIA will refund the entire amount.
In case of force majeure the Foundation will offer the possibility to change dates and course to students.
