Daily Programme
Day 1
- Participants arrival
- Individual expectations and setting goals for the week
- Course introduction
Full equity for all students : this part provides an overview on the role of sport in destabilizing systems of oppression and aim at a more inclusive society.
Day 2
- Explore experimental teaching methods, physical education practices and experiential learning.
– Jobshadowing session in a school labelled in priority education network: how to implement gender and social equality in a multicultural environment.
- Identify how the process of questioning between students and teachers is as a key tool to build trust and establish inclusive environments via relationships.
Day 3
- Review and develop critical thinking on the different forms of diversity found in physical education context
- How to promote a culture of equality in your school through approaches based on notions of understanding, empathy, and experience
- How to tackle the challenges of implementing equality in a multicultural context
- Promote equality consciousness by drawing on interdisciplinary theoretical insight from fields such as psychology, P.E theory and pedagogy.
Day 4
- Review strategies to create sustainable fully inclusive policy in a cross-curriculum collaboration with teachers of other subjects
- Practical work: create an assessment grid for specific jobshadowing to evaluate successful models of inclusive teaching
- Active jobshadowing session with participation to physical activities
Day 5
- How to plan and set up equitable learning situations for girls and boys
- Tailored practice based on the participants learning needs

ºìÌÒÊÓÆµing objectives
During this course, participants will explore the most important and fundamental concepts of equitable and inclusive education by :
- considering the place of gender and social equality through sports in aiming at higher academic achievement for all students
- comparing the diversity and equality approach in school in France and in Europe
- discussing about the different forms of diversity in physical education classes (Sports classes)
- analysing the benefits and challenges of implementing diversity practices in physical education
- exchanging good practices about how to implement full and fair equality in lessons
- discussing about the equity principle in school and how to go beyond the simple equality and reach full inclusive collaboration.
- learning how to work with their colleagues in cross-curriculum collaboration in order to plan and set up equitable learning situations for students regardless of genders and backgrounds within and without the classroom
Methodology & assessment
Led by professionals of education with a real experience of teaching, the course will take the form of hands-on workshops with exchanges of practices, brainstorming, analysis and real case scenario examples, participants will reflect on the tools and strategies that will make an impact in their daily practice. A great emphasis will be therefore put on collaboration and interaction between participants to create relevant resources and projects that each of them will be able to take back to school.
Certification details
Each participant will be granted a Certificate of Attendance as well as Certificate of Obtained Competences.
If requested - a Europass Mobility Certificate will be issued.

Transport between one of the Paris airports (Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Paris Beauvais) and the hotel can be organised. Fees will vary according to the number of people and the location of the airport.

Cultural visits
Cultural visits of Senlis and Paris are included in the training programme. This programme can be changed to meet your expectations.
