
MINDFUL EDUCATION: CREATING A POSITIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT 5 DAYS
This course is designed for educators across various levels, including pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational, adult, and special needs education. It welcomes teachers, school staff, NGO professionals, policymakers, corporate staff, students, and individuals interested in fostering mindfulness and diverse strategies to cultivate a stress-free, positive, and supportive learning environment.
Description
The course consists of 25 didactic hours and includes the following modules:
- Introduction to the course, the school, and external week activities.
- Icebreaker activities for trust and community building.
- Cultural presentations.
- Identification of needs and goals for each participant and relevant populations.
- Activity: Stream of Consciousness Journaling
- Understanding mindfulness foundations in education.
- Strategies beyond meditation: Positive psychology in the classroom.
- Qualitative vs. Quantitative practices.
- Activity: Dharma / MindUP
- Integrating mindfulness principles into teaching practices.
- Recognizing and managing stress and conflicts in the classroom.
- Exploring creative and engaging activities for a supportive classroom culture.

- Mindful communication and collaboration.
- Promoting intercultural awareness and sharing diverse educational experiences.

Methodology & assessment
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.
Certification details
Certificate includes the topic, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants.

Course package content:
The course fee includes tution and materials for the course. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves. We do not charge anything extra apart from the 400 EUR course fee.

Cancellation & changes:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances we will offer a free re-schedualing to be used within 6 months.
