Erasmus Course for school staff in Italy - Immigration and cultural integration in Italy
Cultural integration means creating a society in which different cultures coexist peacefully and enrich each other. This not only promotes diversity and tolerance, but also helps build a stronger and more cohesive society. Cultural integration is also important for sustainability.
Description
This course must make you understand what is meant by cultural integration. It is aimed at all school staff and proposes the multiculturalist model with thematic workshops linked to specific topics and needs, which may concern the themes of work, training, sociality, creativity and orientation. Some techniques are used aimed at facilitating the communicative and relational processes inherent in group work: from problem solving to assertive communication, from "nourishing" feedback to team building (the "building of the group", through a set of activities whose purpose is the formation of a group of people who share the same objectives). The course will take place in Naples

Participants will be able to
- Understand the importance of a cultural integration in the European context;
- Work in groups to understand the local reality in relation to the migrants present in the city of Napoli
- Cooperate with foreign students to understand how and if they have integrated into the local reality while maintaining their cultural identity
- Know the Italian organization for welcoming foreign students
Methodology & assessment
For each module, final group work is used which stimulates discussion and creates motivating learning experiences by putting each planned action into a situation.
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
All useful material for the course, such as teaching cards, pens and pencils, gadgets, illustrative material and wifi will be provided by the association. Participants must have their own tablet
Certification details
Certificate of Attendance : it will be released by the association on the last day of the course.
Europass Mobility Document and ºìÌÒÊÓƵing agreement: will be completed with the participant's data during the course. Please send documents in advance to arrange the contents and objectives.

The cost of the course includes lessons, useful material for the course, coffee breaks and city visits. It does not include the Saturday excursion which must be booked at the time of registration

Cancellation & changes:
Cancellation can be made without penalty within fifteen days before the start of the session. In case of force majeure (see the cases foreseen by the Erasmus programme) cancellation is also possible on the start day of the course
