
English for Educators (Level II)
English for Educators: the base (level II) course is for teachers/educators who have at least B2 and upper language levels, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Description
This course is ideal for all those educators (primary & secondary teachers, university staff (academic & admin), adult educators, trainers & coaches) who want to improve their English. It aims to give participants an intermediate knowledge of reading, listening, spoken and written skills in a dynamic and communicative way, through individual, pair and group work and pre-recorded and authentic texts. Course participants are expected to use the range of resources available during the training and to communicate with native speakers wherever possible, in order to develop cultural competence. This course is designed to be very flexible and can be adapted to suit the specific needs of the participants.

By the end of the course, delegates will:
- Improve their oral fluency in English
- Be capable of participating in business meetings where English is the working language
- Improve writing, pronunciation and reading skills in English
- Understand the main ideas of text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in participants’ field
- Produce clear, detailed text on a range of subjects and explain a viewpoint for a specific topic
- Be able to attend international conferences & events
Methodology & assessment
Participants will evaluate their experience at the end of each day and the course will culminate with an evaluation session at the end of the week.

Participants engage with role-playing, scenario-based learning, and self-assessment tools to improve fluency, pronunciation, and professional communication.
