EMPOWERING TEACHERS AND EDUCATORS BY PROMOTING RESILIENCE IN THEM 5 DAYS
Schools are places full of stress and teaching brings teachers face to face with many difficulties. This course is aimed at school leaders, teachers and all those who want to learn about helping their peers to maximize their potential and boost their resilience.
Description
The course consists of 25 didactic hours and includes the following modules:
- Introduction of participants, outline of the programme, warm ups and ice breakers
- Overview of the notion of resilience – putting resilience in contexts (for teachers and not only)
- Presentation and analysis of a full program for promoting resilience
- Transfer of the program of the activities into practice and making it a reality
- Individual support
- Presentation of outcomes, discussion, evaluation and closing session
- Teambuilding and networking activities
- City tour or a cultural trip

- ºìÌÒÊÓƵ to fight against adversity in life and mainly in the profession and workplace.
- ºìÌÒÊÓƵ to face complex and dysfunctional systems, but also personal hardships that affect the work life.
- Understand the significance of building resilience for promoting school and social transformation.
- Help develop a healthy camaraderie among the school staff
- Promote the idea of the healthy community among adults as well as youth
- Provide and exercise creative ideas and practical resources for empowerment of teachers by means of resilience.
- Transfer and implement the above ideas and practices to participants’ schools, workplaces and organizations. ºìÌÒÊÓƵ how and why
- Improve English fluency (official language of the course).
- Promote intercultural awareness.
- Share experiences of coaching from different organizations in order to help each of us to be more effective in our work.
- Strengthen the European collaboration among people practicing coaching in education in different contexts.
Methodology & assessment
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.
Certification details
Certificate includes the topic, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants.

Course package content:
The course fee includes tution and materials for the course. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves. We do not charge anything extra apart from the 400 EUR course fee.

Cancellation & changes:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances we will offer a free re-schedualing to be used within 6 months.
