It is estimated that students who are gifted and highly talented encompass 5 to 15% of the school-age population. These advances students can have increased capabilities in academics, creativity, music, dance, art, and/or leadership. To teach gifted students, the teachers should be careful about finding ways to support their learning process. They should compact the curriculum and provide enrichment activities as well as provide environments that are stimulating, and address cognitive, physical, emotional, and social needs of gifted children in the curriculum. During the program, some practical recommendations will be focused on the ways of teaching gifted students.

All the participants will
- Implement a multi-level and multi-dimensional curriculum.
- Differentiate the curriculum to address differences in the rate, depth, and pace of learning.
- Be flexible with the curriculum.
- Take advantage of real-life experiences that can be translated into problem-solving academics for all students.
- Engage gifted students in the curriculum decision-making process, giving them an opportunity to learn how to take responsibility for their learning.
- Allow students to pursue independent projects based on their interests. Independent projects can be assigned based on ability level.
- Allow gifted children to assume ownership of their learning through curriculum acceleration.
- Instruct them to work ahead to problems of skills that they do not know.
- Try to maximize your students’ potential by expecting them to do their best.
- Encourage them to advance as quickly as they can.
Methodology & assessment
Assessment will include reflective journals, lesson plan submissions, and group presentations showcasing strategies for teaching gifted learners. Participants will also complete peer-reviewed projects and use self-assess
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
Participants will receive comprehensive handouts, guides, and templates for designing differentiated curricula and independent projects. Digital tools such as online collaboration platforms, learning management systems, and educational apps for gifted learners will be integrated into sessions. Resources will include case studies, video tutorials, and curated lists of academic contests and extracurricular opportunities. Certification details
Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completing the course, detailing the course title, duration, and key learning outcomes. This certificate serves as formal recognition of their professional development. A Europass Mobility Certificate can also be issued upon request, documenting the learning experience in alignment with Erasmus+ standards. Full attendance and active participation in all sessions are mandatory to qualify for these certifications.

Course package content:
The course package includes all educational activities, training materials, and a Certificate of Attendance. Participants can also request a Europass Mobility Certificate at no additional cost. Accommodation, meals, local transportation, and personal expenses are not included in the package and must be arranged by participants. Optional activities or excursions beyond the course program may incur extra costs, and these will be clearly communicated in advance.

Cancellation & changes:
Cancellations are permitted up to 30 days before the course with a full refund, minus an administrative fee. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable unless due to force majeure, in which case partial refunds may be considered. Participant substitutions are allowed up to 7 days before the course. In case of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters), the course may be rescheduled, moved online, or canceled, with refund options provided for the course fee only.
