Methodology & assessment
Embracing Diversity: Fostering Inclusivity in the Classroom offers a comprehensive range of content to enable educators to create inclusive and diverse learning environments. Participants will delve into the importance of diversity in education, exploring concepts such as cultural competence, implicit bias, and inclusive curriculum design.
The course emphasises practical strategies that participants can implement in their classrooms. They will learn about effective differentiation techniques, and explore the principles of Universal Design for Ƶing (UDL). Participants will also develop conflict resolution and mediation skills to foster positive interactions among students from different backgrounds, and they will explore collaborative problem-solving approaches that encourage cooperation.
