Description
In modern education, it is essential to provide individualized support to students in everyday school life to meet their unique needs and unlock their full potential.
This course equips educators with essential knowledge and tools to effectively support students with difficulties in reading and spelling through individualized instruction. Participants will explore the neurological foundations, key symptoms, and psychological impacts of dyslexia, and gain a solid understanding of the diagnostic process. The course focuses on identifying students' individual needs and implementing compensatory measures as well as targeted strategies to strengthen partial skills. Practical examples of spelling and reading support are provided, along with approaches for structuring lessons that foster inclusion, participation, and personal growth. Educators will learn how to create a supportive learning environment that promotes empowerment through individual support.
This also includes methods of external and internal differentiation:
External differentiation involves implementing strategies outside the classroom, such as specialized programs or small group settings tailored to students’ specific needs.
Internal differentiation refers to adapting teaching methods, materials, and assessments within the classroom to address different ability levels and learning styles.
These elements collectively aim to create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that supports every student's success.
